Ingredients
16ounces1 jar of creamy peanut butter
16ounces1 container of chocolate icing like Betty Crocker chocolate frosting
1/2cupchopped walnutsoptional
Instructions
Line a 8x8 or 9x9 baking pan with waxed paper.
Spoon peanut butter into a microwave save bowl. Heat in microwave in 30 second increments until peanut butter is melted, usually between 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
Spoon icing into a separate microwave safe bowl. Heat in microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and then heat again for 30 seconds or until icing is melted.
Add melted icing to the peanut butter bowl. Stir to combine.
Spoon mixture into the prepared baking pan.
OPTIONAL STEP: Gently press chopped nuts into the top of the fudge mixture.
Place in the refrigerator to set (usually up to 1 hour). When set, cute into bite-sized pieces and enjoy. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
Notes
We usually get about 24 pieces of fudge in this recipe, but you may get more or less depending on what size pan you use and how big (or small) you cut your pieces of fudge.Try this recipe with vanilla icing or cream cheese frosting, too!
