Instructions
Cut a top hat shape out of the white construction paper.
Cut long strips, about 1-inch wide, out of black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple construction paper.
Cut a shamrock shape out of the yellow construction paper.
Finger paint the hat shape with green finger paint. Set aside to dry.
While the paint is drying on the hat, spread glue over the shamrock cutout. Sprinkle the gold glitter on the shamrock. Set aside to dry.
For each red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple construction paper strips, fold them back and forth, accordion style.
Once the paint has dried on the hat, flip the hat over (paint side down) and glue the edge of each red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple accordion strip onto the edge of the hat, so that most of it is hanging down to form the rainbow hair.
Flip the hat back over to the painted side and glue the black strip of construction paper above the brim.
Glue the glitter shamrock on the right side of the black strip.
Write the child’s name on the hat with black marker.
