Ingredients
1/2cupyellow chocolate melts
1/2cupblack chocolate melts
Edible luster dustedible glitter, colors of choice
Sprinklesoptional, colors of choice
Instructions
In separate dishes, melt chocolate melts according to package directions.
Using a food safe brush, paint the inside of the sucker molds with different edible luster dust (aka: edible glitter). We used black, yellow, an purple. Remember to add it to both the top and bottom of the molds.
Pour melted chocolates into prepared 3D spherical sucker molds. Add sticks to the molds and snap top of sucker mold tightly on top. NOTE: If you want yellow on one side and black on the other for an eclipse, see our HOW TO in the recipe tips in the post.
Set aside in a cool, dry place and allow chocolate to set and harden, around 2 hours at a minimum.
Once set, carefully remove the suckers from the mold. If you want sprinkles on some of the suckers, use a spoon to carefully add melted chocolate to the outside of the suckers and then immediately roll in sprinkles. Don't add too much melted chocolate or it will melt your sucker!
Store in an airtight container in cool, dry place for up to 1 month.
Notes
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS RECIPE:
Sphere sucker molds
Sucker sticks
Edible glitter / edible luster dust
Food-safe brush (size of a small paint brush)
*Edible glitter (edible luster dust) is a food-safe glitter. DO NOT USE REGULAR GLITTER WITH THIS RECIPE!I put that this makes 12 suckers, but it will completely depend on the size of the molds you use.
