The Best Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

This is 2 ingredient peanut butter fudge without condensed milk and no dairy added! This quick and easy recipe makes it great for last minute desserts, party foods, or even an easy holiday gift (you can easily double this recipe for homemade food gifts for the holiday season!). No matter when you make it, you’ll definitely add this 2-ingredient peanut butter fudge to your easy desserts rotation after you try it!

Ingredients For This Recipe:

  • Creamy Peanut Butter (regular peanut butter)
  • Chocolate Frosting

RECIPE NOTE: We topped our fudge with nuts, but that is an optional ingredient. This simple fudge without nuts is still yummy!

Materials For The Fudge Recipe:

  • Microwave-safe bowls
  • Square baking pan
  • Wax paper or parchment paper
  • Spoons

How To Make 2-Ingredient Fudge Step By Step Instructions

I love this simple recipe way better than a traditional fudge recipe because of the simple ingredients and the fact that it always makes creamy fudge. (Sometimes old-fashioned fudge comes out gritty.) Plus, you don’t need sweetened condensed milk for this dessert recipe!

We used walnuts on our fudge recipe, but this is optional and is just as good without them if you don’t like nuts.

Don’t forget to get the full printable recipe card below after these step-by-step microwave instructions!

Step 1: Line a baking pan with wax paper.

Line a square baking pan (either 8×8 or 9×9) with waxed paper.

Set aside.

Step 2: Heat the peanut butter.

Spoon peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave until creamy, around 1-2 minutes.

RECIPE TIP: You can start with 30 seconds, stir, then continue heating at 30-second intervals until melted.

Step 3: Heat the icing.

Spoon the icing into another microwave mixing bowl.

Heat the icing until just melted, around 1 minute.

(Again you can heat at 30 second intervals.)

Step 4: Combine the peanut butter and icing.

Add the melted icing into the melted peanut butter bowl and stir until combined.

Spoon mixture into the prepared pan and smooth fudge mixture.

OPTIONAL: Sprinkle nuts on top and press lightly into mixture. If you don’t like nuts, you can leave it plain or try topping it with semisweet chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, or even sprinkles. We actually double the amount of nuts listed in the recipe because we like nut fudge!

Step 5: Refrigerate fudge until set.

Chill fudge mixture in the refrigerator until set, about 1 hour.

Cut into small squares with a sharp knife and serve.

Store any leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Two Ingredient Fudge Recipe

This easy peanut butter fudge recipe makes a creamy texture every time (unlike homemade fudge).

This is such a crowd pleaser dessert that they’ll never guess this is a two-ingredient fudge recipe! A few basic ingredients and you’re done!

FUN RECIPE TIP: If you’re wondering can I make it with any icing the answer is YES! You can use any flavor of icing that you like. This easy recipe is great with different icings like vanilla icing or cream cheese frosting, too, and makes a yummy peanut butter white chocolate fudge.
