Drying apples is another old-fashioned Christmas idea that I think many people have forgotten about and — if I’m being completely honest — dried apples made really cool handmade Christmas ornaments. I really didn’t expect that!
The craft trick is to cut the apples the right way so you have a beautiful star shape in the middle. It looks so beautiful when you hang it on the tree!
