DIY Little Bunny Poo Poo Party Game For Kids and Teen Games - melted chocolates in muffin tin with bunnies for a fun party game and words how to play little bunny poo poo game

Little Bunny Poo Poo party game is a silly game for kids and adults to play together for Easter party games, farm animal party activities or farm birthday party ideas, teen sleepover party activities, baby shower game, or a funny candy game to play with kids!

Overview Of The DIY Little Bunny Poo Poo Party Game

This hilarious candy bar game is a game I made up as a play on words for Little Bunny Foo Foo. (You know, that kids’ song?)

We made it for Easter party activities, but it’s a fun group game to play for birthday party games or funny kids’ sleepover party games all year, especially for farm parties or animal themes.

My favorite thing about this game is that it’s just as fun for an adult game as it is to play with kids and teens.

(Kids and teens love the gross out factor that comes with any poop humor!)

Goal of the Little Bunny Poo Poo Game

The goal of this game is to be the person to correctly identify the most bunny “poo” to win the game and a prize.

The “poo” is, of course, not really bunny poop. Instead, it’s just melted chocolate bars and other melted chocolates that players then have to identify.

Overview of the Bunny Poo Game

OH NO! Little Bunny Poo Poo ate too much candy and had some accidents because of it.

Each player looks at, smells, and can even taste (!!) each of the Little Bunny Poo Poo’s “poo” (chocolate candy bars) and writes their guess for the melted chocolate on the corresponding number on their paper.

To Win The Game

Guess the most number of bunny poo guesses (melted chocolates) to win the game and a prize!

How To Play The Little Bunny Poo Poo Party Game

Game Supplies

  1. 5-10 different kinds of chocolate candy bars or chocolate (see recommendations below or you can get a bag of mixed candy bars like this)
  2. Cupcake liners
  3. Bunny party picks (optional, but we used these and they worked well and were really cute!)
  4. Edible Easter grass (optional, but especially fun if making for an Easter party)
  5. Cupcake muffin pan (optional)
  6. Black marker
  7. Pens or pencils for each guest
  8. Paper for each guest

Setting Up The Little Bunny Poo Poo Game

1. Prepare the cupcake liners.

You will need 2 cupcake liners for each candy bar — one will have the number and candy bar name on it and you will nest another (blank) liner on top of each of those to melt the candy bars in.

Flip one set of the candy bar liners over and number them and write one name of a candy bar on each liner. (Use pen, not marker like I did because you’ll be able to see the marker.)

Then, place the second liners in each of those liner cups. (Having a second liner will help hide what is written on the bottom.)

2. Create your signs.

We used these bunnies for our number signs and they were so cute for this game because they’re of the bunny’s backside with his little tail, so it stayed with the “pooing” theme.

Write a number in marker on each bunny pick (the number of candy bars you are using) and set aside.

3. Melt the chocolates.

I used mini candy bars and fun-sized candy bars for my game.

If you’re using full sized candy bars, you’ll just need a small portion.

Place the cupcake liners on a plate and then place one type of candy bar in each cupcake liner.

IMPORTANT GAME TIP: MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET THE CORRECT CANDY BAR IN THE CORRECT CUPCAKE LINER! (Remember? You wrote the names on the bottom!)

Working in batches (I do four at a time), microwave your candy bars in cupcake liners until melted.

I start with 15 seconds and check in 10 second increments from there. Some of the chocolates will melt sooner (just remove those) and others will take a little longer.

I always leave some that are easily identifiable and also use the back of a spoon to “smash” down others to make them harder to identify.

As you removed melted ones from the microwave, check the bottom of the cupcake liner for the number and then stick the corresponding bunny pick number into the chocolate (sometimes they won’t stick, so just put them in their corresponding cupcake liner).

Then, place the prepared melted candy bars in the cupcake pan.

GAME PLAY TIP: If you have a larger group, you will want to get multiple 4 cupcake tins like this and start them in separate areas of the group. That way, you can have multiple players observing the candy bars and passing them around and not just waiting for one set of candy bars. Using sturdy muffin tins makes it easier to pass and observe the candy bars.

Keep working in batches until all candy bars are melted and prepared with the number sign and placed in the cupcake pan.

If you are using edible Easter grass, cut some of the grass in small pieces and sprinkle into the prepared cupcake liners (but not before they chocolate is melted!).

Little Bunny Poo Poo Game Instructions - different colored bunny party picks in melted chocolate bars for a candy bar game with bunnies theme

Bunny Poo Game Play Instructions

1. Set up for game play.

Have guests sit in a way that it’s easy to pass the game around — like around a table or in a circle.

Give each guest a pen or pencil a piece of paper numbered with the number of candy bars you’re using.

GAME PLAY TIP: I got these mini clipboards for game night a while back and they have come in so handy for game play!

2. Explain the game.

Start by saying “Oh no! Little Bunny Poo Poo ate all the chocolate bars and had accidents. We need your help identifying Bunny Poo Poo’s bunny poo so we can get him some help.”

Then, tell guests that they must guess the identify each of the melted chocolate bars and write them next to the corresponding number on their pieces of paper. No peeking on other’s paper!

To help identify the chocolate candy, guests can:

  • Look at the melted chocolate
  • Smell it
  • Touch it
  • Taste a very small piece of it – if you are going to allow guests to taste it, be sure to use enough of the candy bar when melting that people can do this – FYI, kids LOVE this part because it seem gross!

4. Start the game.

If you are using multiple muffin tins (which I really recommend for a party more than 6), start the tins at different people in the circle.

Tell everyone to work as quickly as they can and pass the tin onto the next person when they’re finished.

Remind everyone to write their candy guess from the cupcake liner number next to the corresponding number on their paper.

GAME PLAY TIP: If you have younger kids and think the game may be too hard, you can make a list of the candy bar names (with some other candy names you mixed in that you didn’t use) and let players select names from a list and write the numbers next to those names.

5. Award a winner!

After everyone has had a chance to guess each melted candy chocolate, hold up each of the cupcake liners with melted chocolates and announce the answer (like, “#1 is KitKat” etc.).

Have guests put a check next to each one they guessed correctly and an “X” next to the ones they got wrong.

The person with the most correct guesses wins a prize (so be sure to get a prize to give away!)

GAME TIP: I always get two prizes in case there are two people who tie. If there are more than two people, I usually just put their names on slips of paper and then draw a winner for the prize.

Good Chocolate Candy for the Bunny Poo Game

IMPORTANT GAME TIP: If you are using Hershey kisses they will not melt completely! You will need to heat them for a few seconds and then smash them down with a piece of parchment or wax paper to make them flat and harder to recognize.

Great idea for a party game! Just wondering, how many players can join in at once for this game? Sounds fun for both kids and adults.

Hi Astrid – you can play this with a small group or a large crowd. If you’re playing with a bigger group, you’ll want to have more melted candy bars rotating so that people aren’t just sitting around doing nothing and waiting.
