Helpful Recipe Tips & Recipe FAQs for Pasta Salad With Greek Dressing
What type of pasta is best for Greek pasta salad?
Any short, sturdy pasta is good for Greek pasta salad.
I usually use rotini (spiral corkscrew pasta twists), penne, or bowtie pasta (farfalle).
What is the dressing for Greek pasta salad made of?
Homemade Greek dressing is a vinaigrette made of olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, and seasonings.
However, for this Greek salad, I use my favorite store-bought Greek salad dressing as a time saver for quick recipes for dinner or lunch salads.
How long does Greek pasta salad last?
Store Greek pasta salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
After that, the pasta salad may still be good, but the vegetables in the salad start to get mushy.
I’ve also found that after a few days in the fridge, the pasta is dry. I usually add a little more Greek dressing and give it a good stir before serving.

This pasta salad is an easy make-ahead recipe for the night before. I think it combines the flavors a little better.
If you make it ahead, be sure to stir completely before serving.
You may need to add a little more Greek dressing drizzle and top with feta the next morning also.
Just don’t make it more than the night before. You don’t want the veggies to get mushy!
