How To Make a Homemade Hot Chocolate Gift Jar
This easy cocoa drink mix really does make one of the best homemade holiday gift ideas. It’s so easy to assemble and makes beautiful DIY holiday edible gifts.
For your DIY present, you’ll need hot chocolate gift glass jar for each serving.
This recipe is for 4-ounce mason jars, which makes single serve hot chocolate in a jar.
We have also doubled the recipe and made 8-ounce mason jars with handles for mugs (we’ve even tripled it, depending on the size of the family we’re giving the hot chocolate mix in a jar gift to). Just be sure to put on the handmade label how many servings it makes and to add 1 cup of boiling water for each serving.
Then, add decorative items like ribbon, twine, chocolate spoons or peppermint spoons, candy canes, or more for festive gifts. (No need to wrap them!)
